PrestonRayFitness is functional (purposeful) training designed to improve human movement, as well as athleticism. Anyone who works out or trains is an athlete and all athletes must master basic human movements. Upon mastering the eight basic human movements, we delve into more common themes such as body composition and strength training.

I find Preston’s workouts effective because they work all parts of the body with core exercises, stretching, cardio, and strength training. They’re focused, varied, and challenging. Preston is really good about motivating you to push yourself but he also knows when to give you room to go at your own pace. I really enjoy working out with Preston. I've never been one to work out in a gym before, so he makes sure I know how to use equipment & do exercises properly. He's smart and easy to talk to, and he changes the routines regularly, so it doesn't get boring. Perhaps most important for me, he is always ready to pick a different exercise if my messed up knees hurt - no other trainer I've worked with has ever been very good about that.

I have trained with Preston for a couple of years now and I love my workouts. Preston keeps me motivated, keeps the workouts fun and challenging, and I work much harder than I can by myself. Due to Preston's polite, but firm approach I have become stronger, have better balance, and lost a whole dress size! He knows exactly how far and hard to push and when it's time for a break.
